All the planning and preparation comes to life! Whether it's hiking, chilling on the beach, or hanging out with family, you get to have a relaxing day feeling the love and enjoying each other's company. I'll be documenting the whole day with the care and attention you deserve.

After you book, the fun part begins! I build custom to you location, timeline and activity suggestions based on your vision. You also get exclusive access to my preferred vendor guide and I'm always just an email or phone call away to answer your burning planning questions.

At least one month if the majority of your elopement is planned or you're being super spontaneous. Looking to create an amazing, true to you experience and still have lots of planning to do? At least 3 months would be a good estimate of the time we’d need to plan out your dream day.
How far in advance should we book?
YES! This day is 100% authentically about you. Together we can design an elopement that reflects who you are, and includes your VIPs. However, adventurous elopements work best with less than 10 people. It’s important to consider the physical abilities and limitations of your guests when designing your day. I will still book and help you plan your elopement with up to 25 guests.
Can our elopement include guests?
NO! If your elopement is 100% about representing who you are, maybe that means renting a beachside cottage and saying your vows among the dunes. Maybe it means getting ice cream and taking a stroll downtown. Beautiful elopements can happen anywhere, even in your own living room. One thing that we'll do when you hire me is have a discovery call to begin brainstorming your #bestdayever ideas.
Do we have to hike up a mountain?
I highly recommend a full day of coverage! Just because you are eloping does not mean your day is less deserving of the same kind of care and coverage from your photographer that a big wedding day does. Each moment of your elopement day is going to feel more significant because it’s only being experienced by a select few people. So the photographs and films documenting it are much more valuable. A full day of coverage means I can capture your complete elopement story with whatever timeline we’ve planned.
How much time should we plan?
We host your elopement rain or shine. I try to always have a plan B in the works in the case of really terrible weather, but if it's a light rain or a passing storm we'll be out there making you look like you just came from the set of The Notebook. Side bar: this is also the benefit of booking a sweet VRBO for your elopement stay. In the case of bad weather we have somewhere cool that we can take over for indoor lifestyle photos.
What if it's raining?!
We had a great experience with Emma not only photographing but also planning our small, intimate vow renewal celebration! She helped with everything from the major to minor planning details and kept us included in the decisions along the way. The photos she took are beautiful and are the exact kind of keepsakes we'd imagined having to look back on.
